An Post Rás 2013

The countdown is on for the 2013 An Post Rás and this year three of the stages will pass through Cork (as a Cork-based company, you can imagine how happy we are about this!). This iconic and gruelling road cycling race started in 1953 and this year's event will begin on Sunday 19 May in Dunboyne, County Meath, finishing up in Skerries, County Dublin, on Sunday 26 May. The Cork stages start on Wednesday 22 May when Stage 4 (which kicks off in Listowel, County Kerry) ends in Glengarriff.

Stage 1, Sunday 19 May, Dunboyne – Longford 135.4 km

Stage 2, Monday 20 May, Longford – Nenagh 160.4 km

Stage 3, Tuesday 21 May, Nenagh – Listowel 141.1 km 

Stage 4, Wednesday 22 May, Listowel – Glengarriff 153 km 

Stage 5, Thursday 23 May, Glengarriff – Mitchelstown 150.2 km 

Stage 6, Friday 24 May, Mitchelstown – Carlow 154.6 km

Stage 7, Saturday 25 May, Carlow – Naas 141.2 km

Stage 8, Sunday 26 May, Naas – Skerries 144.6 km
